In the Moment Live Coaching Conversations
Dear Career Coaches:
We are delighted to announce that our Career Coach SIG speaker for Wednesday, July 13, 2016 will be Patricia E. Hirsch, NCOC®, MCC, MBA, presenting In the Moment Live Coaching Conversations from 12:00-1:00 PM ET via phone (425) 440-5100 PIN 093980# or via the web at:
(Note: You will receive 1 ICF Resource Development CCE credit for attending the call live and must be present for the full call)
If we don’t know how to coach in the moment, then we are missing out on coaching opportunities. As an ontological coach, I am on my coaching game at any moment. What if I run into someone sitting in public at my favorite coffee shop? Or standing in a line that doesn’t seem to be moving? I’ve learned to pick up a conversation anywhere. It could lead to a lucrative contract in a small business or a personal coaching client. Many of my coaching clients have been those who have shared offhand something painful for them, such as “I could never do that” or, “I always wanted to do…” or “yes, when I was younger, I thought I could ”x” and never took the chance; now it’s too late.” Ha! This time will be filled with live coaching, in the moment, based on usually a surprise awakening for the client.
The Presenter would like 2 volunteers to be her coachees. If you are interested, please email email@example.com now. I’ll forward the names of the first two people who respond.
You will learn:
- Experience coaching with no preparation.
- Listen to how to dance with whatever conversation shows up.
